Two types of screens are popular on the mobile phone market, LCD and OLED. Among them, LCD is what we call a liquid crystal display, and OLED is what we call an organic light-emitting diode. LCD is already a mature screen on screen technology, and OLED is the mainstream of modern mobile phones. So what is the difference between them?
OLED is an organic light-emitting diode. The material itself has light-emitting properties, so the screen is relatively thin. It is the screen that many flagship mobile phones need now. It can put more components under the screen of the mobile phone, such as under-screen unlocking, under-screen cameras, etc. So in this regard, there are many more scenarios where OLED is used than LCD. In addition, there is another AMOLED on the market, which is mainly produced by Samsung and LG companies in South Korea. In fact, the screen is an extension of OLED.
