3: The HDMI of the LCD display can be used to connect to the HDMI interface of a desktop computer or laptop for high-definition display.
If it is only for general computer applications and videos, there is no need to have an HDMI interface. Now I am using a laptop and a widescreen LCD to connect through a VGA interface, which is completely acceptable.
In addition, there is a trend for the displayport (DP) interface to replace the HDMI interface. This is free of patent fees, and manufacturers prefer it.
